The Best Of – Complicated or Simple?
I know from experience that it’s the hardest to predict if fans will like what they’ve done. Sometimes the amount of work put into the project is not at all adequate to the final effect of WOW. Sometimes a simple spontaneous design will make more noise than a laborious piece of furniture. Another problem of complicated constructions is 85% doubt. It is almost ready, WOW is coming and we stop enjoying it all and want to let it go.
Two years of gouging
My adventure with wood began in January 2015, so my carpentry experience is small but I know a lot about self-learning. I even work with this knowledge a little in my DIY posts. Each project taught me something new, even those that never saw the light of day and there were several of them;)
But which one was the best?
Exactly?! Table? Cupboard? Maybe some decoration? I don’t want to decide for myself because you, you, my readers, my fans, colleagues are the best at it. Therefore, below you will find five, in my opinion, the best projects. Wooden furniture and decorations, not necessarily in chronological order.
1) Cabinet for … shoes
Yes this is a shoe cabinet made for my sister. Why is he standing in the kitchen? Because the rest of our house was still in total chaos, everything is undergoing renovation and only photos could be taken in the kitchen. The cabinet is 100% made of pallets. Bucket handles. Painted with whitewash 🙂
2) Dining table …
of course also from pallets. This was our first project. A lot of dismantled old palettes + instructional videos on YT and voila. The only tools I had then were a miniature tile saw with a wood blade attached and a screwdriver. The pattern of boards on the countertop is Niki’s idea and seems to be very good to me.
3) Wooden Deer
A spontaneous project that arose because I didn’t want to clean the garage yyy, i.e. the studio;) You can follow the description of the creation here
4) Little table, do it yourself
I’m crazy here! Not only that, I switched from apple pallets to boxes, I also made a time-lapse movie with a self-assembling table 🙂
5) LOFT table
It is also a very simple project that anyone can do on their own and does not require a lot of tools. Details of the implementation can be found at this link
So which one was the best??
Do you have your tips? Or maybe I forgot something? Maybe there is an item from PAPA Timbrowa that outperforms the rest? (one to rule them all;)) Be sure to write in the comments. #PeaceLoveDiy
